ITEX Rotates to East Coast for 2011 - Bigger, Better, Enhanced

Ft. Lauderdale, FL (February 2010) – ITEX, the award-winning office trade show produced by Imaging Network, a subsidiary of Questex Media Group LLC, will rotate to the East Coast in 2011 and co-locate with the industry leading office document and content management events, AIIM Expo/Info360 and the OnDemand Conference & Expo to create a unique industry event that will bring together the largest office dealer and channel audience in the country.  The strong alliance will create a fresh and exciting venue based on a complimentary audience with a compatible industry focus.

ITEX will continue to deliver innovative strategies to the channel as before yet evolve to the next logical step to fully educate the marketplace and the emerging Hybrid Dealer. This includes the industry’s leading Education Tracks for the dealer marketplace, MPS Forums, Multi-Product Pavilions and spotlighting Industry Leading Exhibitors. This is the core strategy of ITEX, traditionally attended by Dealers, VARS, ISVs, and Solution Specialists seeking the latest trends and opportunities in the office channel. The move will add a cross-mix of providers and increase the ability to network with end users; buyers and customers.

ITEX, supported by the company’s publication, imageSource magazine, acknowledged early on that technology has changed and there is a need to understand the ensuing mind set of the customer/buyer more than ever before. As standalone copier/printer devices have evolved into integrated MFDs connected to the enterprise IT network, channel providers are finding that end-user decision makers have also consolidated from separate copier/printer buyers to a single buyer within the IT function, thus changing the purchasing approach in today’s marketplace. By holding ITEX and the other events at the same location, the mega-show will create the nation’s largest educational, commercial and business networking platform for all key constituents in the office/document management community including OEMs, Channel Dealers, Solution Specialists, End-Users and more.
