Katun Announces Distribution Agreement with RTS Imaging of Australia

MINNEAPOLIS - Katun Corporation, the world’s largest supplier of OEM-compatible products to the office imaging industry, today announced a distribution agreement with RTS Imaging of Sydney, Australia. On October 1, 2007, RTS Imaging will become Katun’s Premier Distributor for imaging parts and supplies in Australia and New Zealand.

RTS Imaging has been active in the Australian market since the 1970’s when they started distributing ribbon cartridges. With distribution warehouses in Sydney, Australia and Manukau City, New Zealand, they have since become one of the largest laser printer cartridge remanufacturers in the Southern Hemisphere.

“We are excited to be partnering with a company that shares many of our same values,” said Carlyle Singer, president and CEO, Katun Corporation. “Their commitment to service and quality has been proven over the years, and with a 3200 M² warehouse in Sydney, a proven distribution infrastructure, and ISO certification, RTS will be in a position to offer customers the highest level of service.”

“We at RTS have always respected the quality products produced by Katun,” stated Wilf Mula, owner of RTS Imaging. “Katun, over many years, has produced aftermarket copier products that have met the test of time, been accepted by the market at large for consistency, and are backed up with technical know-how and expertise.  We believe that the copier and laser technologies are merging and that partnership with Katun will provide our customers with a one-stop solution for both technologies.”

RTS will offer the full Katun range of products, in addition to their own extensive selection of laser printer cartridges, ink jet cartridges, thermal transfer ribbons and other printer media.
