Kodak’s Document Imaging Business Hires New Director of Marketing for U.S. and Canada

ROCHESTER, NY—Rod Hughes recently joined Kodak’s Document Imaging business as Director of Marketing for the United States and Canada region. In his new role, Hughes will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical business and marketing plans.

With his direct experience working with value added resellers (VARs) in the office equipment industry, Hughes will support Kodak’s VAR program, and help expand Kodak’s share and influence in the marketplace.

Hughes joins Kodak from Xerox, where he spent 10 years managing marketing and sales operations with the company’s authorized agent channel.

“Rod’s expertise across channels and deep experience in a broad range of marketing initiatives are critical to helping us achieve our goal of exceeding our customers’ growth expectations,” said Don McMahan, Vice President Sales, Regional Business General Manager, US&C Region, Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, Document Imaging, Eastman Kodak Company. “With his experience in managing outside sales channels, Rod understands how resellers work and will support them to increase customer productivity and further establish Kodak’s Document Imaging business as a major competitor in the market.”

Hughes earned a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College in Buffalo and an MBA from the University of Rochester’s Simon School.
