Kodak's Document Imaging Business Joins BTA
ROCHESTER, NY - Kodak’s Document Imaging business, Graphic Communications Group, today announced that it is becoming a member of the industry organization, Business Technology Association.
The Business Technology Association (BTA) is an international not-for-profit trade association serving independent dealers, value-added resellers, systems integrators, manufacturers and distributors in the office technology industry.
“BTA membership provides Kodak a huge opportunity to build awareness of our award-winning document imaging products, solutions, and service and support with a new audience, namely dealers, resellers and integrators who serve the general office, and small- and medium-sized business markets,” said Roger Markham, Product Marketing Manager for Distributed Capture and Integrated Imaging Products, US&C, Document Imaging, Graphic Communications Group. “We particularly look forward to introducing BTA members to our newest network and desktop scanners, the KODAK Scan Station 100 and the KODAK i1200/i1300 Series Scanners respectively, that break with convention in terms of incomparable features, ease-of-use, and high image quality and performance.”
BTA helps its members profit through a wide variety of services, including free legal advice and guidance; business benchmarking studies and reports; information on the latest news, trends and products in the industry; strong educational offerings; and industry specific publications Office Technology magazine and BTA Hotline Online. The association boasts more than 700 members and is headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.
“BTA was established in 1926, which is nearly as long as Kodak has been in
the document imaging business. Throughout our history, BTA has helped to educate
and train our members in embracing new technologies to assist in offering better
products, solutions and services to help end users increase efficiency in their
businesses and organizations that better serve their clients, customers and
communities,” said Brent Hoskins, Executive Director of the Business Technology
Association and Editor of Office Technology magazine. “We welcome Kodak as a
member and the contributions its expertise, products and solutions will make in
pursuit of BTA’s mission.”
