Konica Minolta Announces Dealer Channel Management Team

RAMSEY, NJ—February 12, 2004—Following up on its January 2004 appointment of Stephen (Steve) T. Jones to executive vice president, U.S. dealer sales, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) today announced the additional members of its dealer channel management team. The newly selected management team will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dealer sales organization, including:  Monochrome, Color, Major Accounts, Special Markets, Document Imaging Systems, Distributor and Consumables Sales, Solution Sales and Dealer Support.  The appointments will be effective as of April 1, 2004. 

Monochrome Dealer Sales—Harry Hecht, formerly Vice President, Dealer Sales and Development, Konica, will assume the position of Vice President, Dealer Sales -- East.  Raegan Carr, formerly National Sales Manager, Minolta Color Products, will assume the position of Vice President, Dealer Sales -- West.  Hecht and Carr will be responsible for overseeing the dealer support field organization, providing sales and application support, and developing and growing the dealer channel in their respective regions.

Color Dealer Sales—Patrick Fortunato will assume the position of Vice President, Color Dealer Sales and will be responsible for managing the dealer channel's color sales support personnel.

Dealer Sales for Major Accounts—Todd Foote has been named Vice President, Dealer Sales -- Major Accounts, and will be responsible for overseeing all dealer national and major account sales. 

Dealer Sales for Special Markets—Ken Matthews has been named Director, Special Market Sales.  In this newly created position, Matthews will manage sales and support for large special market sales for the dealer network.

Document Imaging Systems Director, Dealer Sales—Mike Pierro will be responsible for increasing national sales activities by establishing cooperative marketing efforts with leading software vendors in vertical industries. He will supervise these programs for four regions in support of the dealer network

Distributor and Consumables Sales—Ty Butler, Director of Dealer Sales. Distributor and Consumables will direct the AfterMarket and Distributor Channel strategy, ensuring that the necessary programs and support are in place to grow Konica Minolta's dealer distributor, parts, supplies and service business. 

The Solutions Sales Group will be headed up by Chris Bilello, Regional Manager, Solution Sales -- East and Sue Gain, Regional Manager, Solutions Sales -- West.  Bilello and Gain will be responsible for delivering on site solutions sales support to Konica Minolta's dealer channel. This support includes providing a field support team to help the company's dealers with integrated hardware and software solutions for their customers.
