Konica Minolta & Kodak Announce Availability of KODAK Scanners for Konica Minolta Line

ROCHESTER, NY (Oct. 2010) - Kodak and Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) announce that the latest KODAK Document Imaging Scanners and KODAK Capture Pro Software are now available to Konica Minolta customers. This availability unites Kodak’s expertise in document imaging technologies, business solutions and services with Konica Minolta’s leading capabilities in advanced imaging and networking technologies for a variety of customers, from the desktop to the print shop.

Comprised of 20 new models, ranging from small business, workgroup scanners to high-volume, enterprise production scanners, KODAK Scanners offer a wide range of speeds and daily volume capacities to meet the ever-changing needs of customers.

The new KODAK Scanners deliver speeds ranging from 45 pages per minute (ppm) to 200 ppm and images per minute (ipm) speeds from 80 ipm to 800 ipm. Some of the advanced features include: Simplex / Duplex; Automatic Document Feeder; Very Long Document scanning; Multi-feed detection; Switchable imaging background; ISIS and TWAIN driver support, and Kodak’s Smart Touch feature.

KODAK Capture Pro Software, v2.5 benefits many different types of applications, with new functionality for digitizing paper-based tasks, including accounts receivable, claims processing and backfile conversions. Extending Capture Pro Software, v2.5 capability to be a part of a custom workflow, it includes an enhanced capability to automatically start a specific process when output processing has been finalized, allowing the integration into customized workflows. KODAK Capture Pro, v2.5 works with KODAK Document Scanners and more than 150 scanners from other manufacturers. The all-new KODAK Capture Pro Software Auto Import Edition creates a dedicated capture platform for environments without an attached scanner, performing the same powerful image processing as Capture Pro Software for document scanners.
