Kyocera Mita America Announces High Speed TASKalfa Color

Fairfield, NJ (April 2009) – Kyocera Mita America, Inc., one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today announced that it has expanded its color multifunctional product solutions offering with the TASKalfa 750c series.

The TASKalfa 750c series features superior quality, power and performance in three new models, the TASKalfa 750c (75 ppm black/65 ppm color), TASKalfa 650c (65 ppm black/65 ppm color) and the TASKalfa 550c (55 ppm black/55 ppm color).

“We are excited to deliver high-speed color MFPs that expand our TASKalfa family of devices and provides our dealers an opportunity to more aggressively compete with the Kyocera Mita brand of products,” said Peter Hendrick, vice president, marketing, Kyocera Mita America. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to launch new and next-generation products that drive profitable growth for our dealers and extend our collective market share. We are delivering on the promise we have made to our channel partners and we anticipate these new models – along with our industry leading service, training and support benefits – will drive greater success for all of our independent dealers.”

Power, Performance and Flexibility

The TASKalfa 750c series is built for high speed and performance, while engineered for quick and easy end-user operation via a 10.4-inch color touch screen control panel.

The TASKalfa 750c series delivers exceptional image quality and will be Fiery-enabled in the near future to further extend performance capabilities. All three models come with a 3,500 sheet standard paper capacity – upgradable to 6,000 sheets – along with special features like USB direct printing, scan preview and scan to USB. The TASKalfa 750c series can handle a wide range of paper stock, and users will have a variety of advanced finishing and paper handling options to choose from.

The TASKalfa 750c series offers cross-platform compatibility, connecting to virtually any environment, and features a standard 80GB HDD. The scanner supports all major file formats including TIFF, JPEG, XPS and PDF.
