Lanier Worldwide and T/R Systems Join Forces
Lanier Worldwide, Inc. announced plans to develop a new line of integrated document management solutions together with T/R Systems, a document management and production software. The solutions will combine high-end digital copier/printer systems from Lanier with innovative software and hardware packages from T/R Systems, and will be deployed throughout North America at several Lanier Professional Services (LPS) locations. LPS is one of the providers of outsourcing services in the United States.
``This is an exciting opportunity for T/R Systems and Lanier, but the big winners are LPS customers,'' said Nori Goto, Chairman and CEO of Lanier. ``Through this initiative, we will create new advances in production and enterprise output management, print-on-demand and other digital document workflow applications -- all of which will enable LPS to shorten turnaround time, increase efficiency and deliver a wider range of advanced, high-quality outsourcing services.''
Mike Kohlsdorf, President and CEO of T/R Systems, agreed: ``The combination of high-speed digital printing systems from Lanier and versatile, scalable solutions from T/R Systems will be potent. Working together, we will be able to extend the boundaries of what digital document management can achieve.''
