LaserFiche Security

LaserFiche security gives management control over all forms of access and can provide reports down to the word-by-word level. Administrator assigns rights to functions such as scanning and all forms of access to files. Audit trails monitor every action on the system, filing reports in real time.

The upcoming LaserFiche 7 provides additional security capabilities, including controlling users’ ability to see and edit index fields and the ability to place special security tags on documents and folders. As you know, compliance depends not only on technology, but on how technology interacts with your established procedures. LaserFiche provides intuitive security and reporting capabilities that facilitate the development and deployment of effective security and regulatory compliance programs.

These programs  range from general confidentiality and file protection requirements for government and the private sector to more specific programs, such as those for SEC financial reporting and records retention and HIPAA compliance for healthcare providers.

The new LaserFiche Records Management has earned the U.S. Department of Defense's DoD 5105.2 certification.  DoD 5015.2 is the de facto standard for evaluating records management applications across government and industry.  Any organization utilizing the Records Management Edition as its framework for deploying security and regulatory compliance programs can rest easy on two levels.  First, your records management solution will have been evaluated against this exacting, objective standard.  Second, your organization will be seen as one that is making every effort to do the right thing.
