Leading Sharp Dealership to Begin Packaging Cutting-edge Desktop Document Management Software with its MFPs

NEW YORK, NY (August 13, 2008) – Central Business Solutions, Inc., one of the largest Sharp dealerships in New York State today announced that it will discontinue selling Sharpdesk in favor of DocPlace Express. Every MFP it ships will be packaged with an OSA module and DocPlace Express.

The Network Places DocPlace is a comprehensive, integrated document management solution that enables organizations to reliably manage mission-critical documents and optimize today’s increasingly complex business processes. DocPlace allows organizations to gain greater control over their business documents and achieve faster results for a competitive advantage.

“While Sharpdesk has for many years been a reliable scanning solution for us, we noticed in recent months a spike in requests from our clients for a more advanced scanning solution”, said Damien Mc Clave, President of Central Business Solutions, Inc. “From initial feedback from our customers, we feel that bundling DocPlace Express with our MFPs will give us a huge selling advantage over our competitors in New York”.

“We are extremely pleased to partner with Central Business Solutions on this initiative” said Justin Mitchell, Director of Business Development of The Network Place. “Not only do we feel Central are providing their clients a richer user-experience for working with documents, they are also introducing them to the world of document management which, for one reason or another, has been a topic that many dealerships have been apprehensive to address with their clients”.

Three editions of DocPlace, Express, Standard and Enterprise give the flexibility to choose the most affordable solution that best suits business needs from various customer segments. DocPlace will deliver unprecedented scalability compared with competitive solutions. The Network Place has invested heavily into the design of enterprise feature sets ranging from high availability, flexible customization and interoperability to performance, ease of use and tight security controls.

To celebrate this partnership Central Business Solutions and The Network Place are co-hosting a Technology Expo at Shea Stadium on August 20th when many of Centrals customers and prospects will get a close up view of DocPlace.
