Minco Manufacturing, A Subsidiary Of Katun Corporation, Announces Production Of Ten Millionth Fuser Roller
Minco Manufacturing, Inc., a subsidiary of Katun Corporation, Minneapolis, announced that the company has produced its ten millionth fuser roller – a key component used in the manufacturing and aftermarket servicing of copiers, printers and other office machines.
Supplying products tailored to the required specifications of many different office machines sold around the world, Minco produces more than 280 different kinds of fuser rollers at two, state-of-the-art, ISO 9002-certified manufacturing facilities in Colorado Springs.
Found primarily in copier machines and printers, the fuser roller is the component responsible for “fusing” toner to paper, using heat and pressure, resulting in the final, permanent image.
“I salute our employees who have made achievement of this milestone so rewarding, and our customers who have made Minco the largest producer of aftermarket fuser rollers in the world,” said Ron Eisele, president, Minco Manufacturing. “Since 1992, we’ve steadily increased fuser roller production. In the past few years the production increases have been dramatic, allowing us to develop additional manufacturing capabilities that in turn allow us to serve our customers even better.”
