Muratec’s MFX-2850 receives “Recommended” status from Buyers Laboratory

Plano, TX - Muratec America, Inc. announced recently that the MFX-2850 has received “Recommended” status from Buyers Laboratory.

The MFX-2850 is a powerful segment 2 multifunctional device built on the Network Gateway Platform (NGP), which enables seamless digital document delivery to network folders, FTP sites, e-mail addresses and fax terminals. The innovative device also features a standard single pass duplex scanner, interactive voice guidance system, 100-sheet automatic document feeder, flexible paper capacity and high-resolution document output.

According to the published test report, “The MFX-2850 gave a very good overall performance in its comprehensive two-month lab evaluation. The 28-ppm monochrome unit, which features standard copy, print, scan and fax functionality, offers excellent reliability and received good to very good marks in the majority of performance categories tested.”

The report went on to state that the MFX-2850 completed the initial 50,000 impression durability test without requiring any service calls and experienced only two misfeeds. In addition, the report also made note of the devices exceptional value, “making the MFX-2850 even more attractive is a price that’s lower than the average for comparably equipped models in its speed range.”

“Reliability, functionality and usability are the key ingredients to an MFP’s success,” says Yutaka Moriwaki, Muratec America president and CEO. “As a manufacturer your aim is consistently deliver in these key areas. It is very gratifying to have an independent party such as Buyers Laboratory validate that our product has met those goals.”

The test report is currently available to authorized Muratec dealers at www.muratec.com/webcenter.
