Muratec launches the MFX-3050

The new MFX-3050 network-ready multifunction device with built-in Windows, Macintosh and Linux compatibility and 10/100 BaseT Ethernet connection,  can be integrated into a variety of customer networks, delivering print, fax and scan functionality. Non-networked users can connect to the MFX-3050 by utilizing the standard high-speed USB 2.0 or IEEE-1284 parallel ports. In addition to its printing capabilities, the 30 page-per-minute MFX-3050 features a standard 50-sheet automatic document feeder, letter-size platen glass and 33.6 Kbps fax modem that combine to create a cost-effective, workgroup solution. Unique to the MFX-3050 is a front-mounted direct USB connection that enables users to print documents directly from a standard USB flash drive. Users may also scan documents from the automatic document feeder or platen glass directly onto the flash drive as TIFF, PDF or JPEG images. The unit ships with a standard 250-sheet paper cassette and 50-sheet multipurpose bypass tray, which can be used to print letterhead, envelopes and labels. An optional 250-sheet paper cassette can be installed, bringing the total paper capacity to 550 sheets.
