MWA Intelligence, Inc. Hosts M2M Solutions Seminar Series in Japan

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — MWA Intelligence, Inc. (MWAi), a leader in remote asset management tools and mobile workforce automation systems and services, has just completed hosting a series of M2M Solutions seminars in Japan. Held in Osaka and Tokyo during the end of October and early November, the events brought together hundreds of independent Japanese office equipment dealers, as well as media and technology partners.

Already a member of Japan’s M2M Consortium, MWAi developed these educational sessions to continue its global market expansion and support a growing number of worldwide distribution initiatives for its Intelligent Assets and Intelligent Service solution suites. The seminars brought together experts from a variety of industry-leading companies who discussed a broad range of topics, including some of the most critical issues impacting office equipment dealer operations, as well as showcased their latest lineup of cutting-edge solutions.

“The rapidly growing M2M space is estimated to reach $710B in revenue and $1.5B in devices being monitored by 2010, and the Asian market is a key contributor to this fast-paced growth,” said Michael T. Stramaglio, CEO and President of MWA Intelligence, Inc. “MWAi is proud to be a leading force in this industry and honored to be a member of the growing Japanese M2M Consortium.”

Seminar attendees were treated to world-class education and best practices from speakers such as Michael Stramaglio and Hiro Ueda of MWAi, Carlyle Singer of Katun Corporation and Shane Hannan of Print Control Solutions (PCS).

“The MWAi seminars were perfectly timed to support our entry into the Asian marketplace,” said Shane Hannan, Director of Sales, Print Control Solutions. “Japanese dealers are facing the same issues that their American and European counterparts must respond to on a daily basis…helping their customers monitor and control their end user print activities.”

ROI Print Manager is an innovative software tool that helps businesses manage their employees’ print activity within the guidelines of an overall document management and production strategy. Customized routing rules automatically modify end user “print behavior” to contain output costs and balance workloads across the enterprise, all without disrupting productivity levels. Ongoing usage tracking and reporting also allows for adjustments as a company’s document strategy evolves in line with its broader business objectives.

Along with M2M and M2P solutions and industry trends and data, MWAi’s Intelligent Service v.4.1. attracted much of the participants’ attention. This latest version of Intelligent Service completes the full M2M enterprise solution by managing all assets, people and systems. Leveraging the integration of Intelligent Device Management™ (IDM) DSS server and the host ERP/CRM/CIS system, equipment configuration and interface information can be set up, synchronized and utilized to enable automatic publication of up-to-date meter, maintenance codes, service alerts and consumable reading information. Status alerts received from IDM-enabled equipment can automatically trigger actions on the Intelligent Service v.4.1 server, including automated service call creation, dispatch management and technician notification.
