New Technologies Allow MSE To Pass On Savings

CHATSWORTH, CA—MSE’s new patented breakthrough technology utilizes computer-guided lasers to cut through OEM welds and increases the precision and efficiency of cartridge remanufacturing.

"We've invested in technology to make us a better company," says Avi Wazana, CEO.  "By doing so, we've reduced our costs and are passing the savings into the channel.  It is the perfect investment.  We lower costs and improve our cartridge quality at the same time!"

Splitting the HP 9000 now takes less than 4 minutes and reduces the cut width to less than 1/100th of an inch.  With reduced cut width, cartridges contacts precisely align once installed in machines.  It also eliminates the need for clips during reassembly. This process is completely automated which removes human error and enhances the aesthetic appearance of the product.

MSE has also expanded its line of cartridge welders to include the HP 4200 and HP 4300. According to Wazana, "Cartridge welding has tremendous benefits. It not only makes our products look better, it dramatically enhances cartridge quality and reliability.”

MSE has developed a complementary splitting method that does not remove plastic.  A complete system is developed for each new welded cartridge introduced.  By doing so, MSE can achieve exact mag-sealing blade alignment that allows cartridges to actually fit better in the machine.
