Notable Solution Inc.’S Autostore Product Passes Ricoh Developer Program Compatibility Testing
West Caldwell, NJ (September 2009) – Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced that Notable Solution Inc.’s (NSi) AutoStore 5 passed the Ricoh Developer Program™ (RiDP™) compatibility testing process. Coupled with Ricoh multifunctional products (MFPs), AutoStore 5 ensures safe delivery of documents, making it ideal for paper-intensive environments, such as the government, military and legal services sectors.
As a RiDP Premier Plus member, NSi took advantage of the Ricoh software development kit to quickly and easily integrate Ricoh MFPs with the company’s document capture and workflow solution. Through Ricoh’s advanced Embedded Software Architecture (ESA) platform, NSi was able to update AutoStore 5 to support Ricoh’s latest MFPs by tapping into Ricoh’s open architecture. Almost all of Ricoh’s MFP and printer lines manufactured after the fall of 2004 have the potential to run ESA. Legacy and new customers have the capability of utilizing this by adding Ricoh developed and third-party developer solutions.
“We are happy that AutoStore 5 has passed Ricoh’s rigorous compatibility testing,” said Mike Morper, VP Marketing, NSi. “We look forward to continuing our long term collaboration with Ricoh and partnering on future projects as we – like Ricoh – continually strive to innovate and provide the highest quality of products to our customers.”
With AutoStore 5, scanned documents are automatically routed for fast and secure distribution and retrieval so customers can rest assured that their business’ critical documents adhere to the various regulations, such as OSHA, Sarbanes-Oxley and HIPAA. In addition to superior security, AutoStore 5 is scalable and can be tailored to fit into a variety of businesses to meet their needs.
“We’re happy to add NSi’s new AutoStore 5 technology to our steadily increasing list of RiDP compatible solutions,” said Mark Minshull, Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “In today’s business environment, meeting stringent regulations and safety concerns is of great concern to our customers, and AutoStore 5 helps businesses meet these requirements in an easy-to-use system.”
