Océ Appoints Elizabeth Halaki Vice President of Marketing
Océ has named Elizabeth Halaki to the position of Vice President of Marketing for Océ Business Services, Inc. (OBS), reporting to President and Chief Executive Officer Joseph R. Marciano. Ms. Halaki has assumed the top marketing post, bringing strategic marketing leadership and program direction to the OBS document process outsourcing activities in the U.S. In her role, she will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s marketing.
“We have conducted an extensive search to find a leader with the right blend of energy, vision and technical expertise to develop the position of Océ Business Services as a total solutions provider,” said Joseph Marciano, President and CEO of OBS. “At a time when the document process outsourcing industry is poised for major growth, Elizabeth’s expertise in marketing and business development will enable us to move forward with greater intensity to build awareness and growth of OBS solutions.”
Ms. Halaki said, “Océ is a world leader with tremendous opportunities ahead. Ms. Halaki’s career includes 20-plus years in senior management, marketing and business development positions in information technology, management consulting and advertising. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at Identrus LLC, a global identity trust system offering digital authentication and payments solutions. Earlier, at management consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton, she focused on strategic and operational business issues for financial services clients in the U.S. and Europe. Her foundation in brand marketing was built at leading marketing communications agencies including McCann-Erickson WorldGroup, where she became Senior Vice President and Group Director.
Ms. Halaki received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree from the School of Arts & Sciences at Cornell University.
