OIT Announces Profitable 2006 Year
STATE COLLEGE, PA - Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT), developer of DocFinity workflow and document management software, announces its fourteenth consecutive profitable year. Vigorous company growth and significant product development are expected in 2007.
Since 1992, OIT's profitability has been coupled with steady growth. In 2006, customers and revenues increased and implementations were expanded nationwide. Driving this growth was the request for services, offered by the professional services department. The team handles training, software integrations, and custom solutions that address market needs.
OIT expanded staff by thirty percent during 2006, including additions to quality assurance, professional services, product development, and support staff. These departments are aligned to handle increasing business volume and provide higher service levels. Ron Prichard, OIT's COO, confidently states, "We have a well-defined business objective driving our growth plans with a focus on quality. The goal is to grow efficiently while driving improvements through all company aspects, resulting in stronger, enhanced customer benefits."
OIT's customer retention, averaging over 90% annually while adding new customers, and strong staff retention have led to continued product advancement. To match the increased demand for workflow and document management software, OIT's staffing will grow by approximately forty percent in 2007. DocFinity J2EE architecture will be further developed for easier administration, greater workflow monitoring, and broader integration. The company will also expand roles in national, regional, and technology organizations.
"We are thrilled that our board has approved an aggressive, yet controlled
growth strategy," says Scott Buchart, OIT President. "This will enable OIT to
continue providing tremendous customer support while expanding product line
capabilities and our ability to deliver tailored solutions integrated with
customer systems while serving our customers. OIT remains a profitable and
debt-free company, able to leverage the financial and strategic resources
backing us. We look forward to serving our customers as we grow."
