OMD Integrates Global Positioning System (GPS) and Microsoft MapPoint in OMD Vision
JEFFERSON CITY, MO— OMD Corporation, a provider of business software solutions and dealership automation, has released the OMD Vision Software integration with GPS and Microsoft MapPoint. OMD Vision has been enhanced to accept the information for Global Positioning System provided by ActSoft Inc. with their extensive GPS program called Comet Tracker. OMD President Donna McAnany said, “Studies have shown that utilizing a GPS system to track and manage service activities has greatly enhanced customer service, increased technician efficiency, response time, reduced costs, and improved asset management. These enhancements to the OMD Vision Software provide a complete mobile management tool for dealerships of all sizes.” GPS program and Microsoft MapPoint can be obtained directly through ActSoft, an OMD Certified Solution Provider.
