OMD to release NetVision, an Internet-based product designed to improve dealership and customer efficiency
This month, OMD Corporation, a leading provider of business software solutions for dealership automation, will release NetVision. This Internet-based program links directly to the dealership’s OMD software, providing the dealer’s customers with the information they need to more effectively manage their office equipment. Using a secure log-in and password, customers can view information about their account, log service calls, order products, and enter meter reads. Access to the various areas of NetVision can be customized on a per user basis.
An integral feature of NetVision allows meter reads, single or multiple, from connected equipment to be uploaded seamlessly and automatically into OMD, eliminating errors that occur during manual collection.
OMD President & CEO Donna McAnany states “NetVision offers a variety of alternatives for OMD Customers to establish a method of electronic communications with their customers which is available 24/7 with the added benefit of electronic meter read collection which is the key to improving billing accuracy and efficiency and reducing the cost of collection.”
With NetVision, the dealerships' customers access the following four main
sections of the website:
Install Base. Customers view their equipment inventory and can click on any serial number for in-depth information such as service history, volume per month, and more with the ability to sequence by usage-low to high or high to low, allowing them to better match end users' needs with the appropriate product.
Account Status. Using this feature, customers can view open invoices and display both graphically and numerically expenses in various categories, including supplies and maintenance as well as total expenses for budgetary purposes. \\
Order Products. Here, customers order supplies and hardware. Additionally, customers may view their past 12 months' ordering history, including details such as delivery and installation dates.
Service. Customers can place service calls and display an overview of the maintenance history of their networks for the previous month and the last 12 months. Additionally, they can sequence their equipment by frequency of service calls.
