Optical Image Technology Announces Additions to Executive Sales Team And Anticipates Increased Demand from Spring Product Launch

State College, PA – February 24, 2009 -Optical Image Technology (OIT) is pleased to announce recent additions to its executive sales team. Rick Strage and Ernest Trani, both seasoned executives in technology sales, assumed senior-level positions in mid-February.

Rick Strage joins OIT as Senior Account Sales Manager. He has more than two decades of high-level sales and management experience from national companies, most recently as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Diversified Information Technologies. He also served as Director of Sales and Operations at Diminutive Network Solutions, where he received the President’s Award multiple times for exceptional sales performance. Strage specializes in value-added consultative sales for business, with wide-ranging experiences in new business development, customer relationship management, and channel management.

Ernest Trani has 30 years of experience delivering business process management and workflow solutions, primarily for healthcare, finance, insurance and education organizations. The newest addition to the OIT sales team, he joins as Senior Sales Executive. Most recently he was the U.S. Account Manager for CUSP, a Dublin, Ireland-based content management and workflow solution provider, where he worked with resellers and other partners to expand the company’s business relationships and revenues in the United States.

The additions to the OIT sales staff are the latest in an aggressive hiring phase that began two years ago as the company redesigned and developed its DocFinity suite of document imaging, document management, and workflow software for business.
