Parts Now! Announces Record Year Sales 2006
Middleton, WI - February 6, 2007 - Parts Now! announced its annual sales for the calendar year ended December 31, 2006. For the seventeenth consecutive year, sales surpassed prior year’s results. Total sales were $95.5 million, up from $91 million. The company attributes its growth to its geographic expansion, broader product offering and better alignment of products and services to customers' needs.
"2006 has been a record year in the history of Parts Now!," stated Jay Spaanem, CEO, Parts Now! "We executed our growth strategies and we continue our progress toward our long-term plan. We are on track with our planned expansion in the West Coast. We deepened our product portfolio with the addition of computer parts as well as Lexmark OEM supplies. And as part of our global expansion strategy, we acquired the Canadian firm Pieces Express, Inc."
Based in Lacolle, Quebec, Pieces Express is a leading Canadian distributor of laser printer parts. The acquisition enables Parts Now!, which is already the largest supplier of laser printer parts in North America, to expand its products and services within the Canadian marketplace. Pieces Express is now known as Parts Now! Canada.
"We’re committed to remaining the leading laser printer parts company," said Kevin Guy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "As proof, we earned certification to ISO 9001:2000 standards this year, making us one of the very few companies in our industry to achieve this certification. And we continue to invest in Parts Now! for the future."
Also in 2006, Parts Now! moved into a new, 110,000 square foot office and warehouse facility. Construction of the repair plant will be complete in February, 2007. The new headquarters includes acreage for future expansion as the company continues to grow its products and services to better meet customers' needs.
