Parts Now! Online Training Class Available

International laser printer parts distributor Parts Now! announced the release of the HP LaserJet 5Si/8000/8100/8150 Online Training course, which teaches printer repair technicians how to service this popular series of laser printers.

The online course, set in a webinar format, is led by Parts Now! Director of Training Steve Geishirt, an industry-renowned trainer who has been teaching Parts Now! classes for over 14 years. “Online Training prepares students to go out and repair printers in the field,” Geishirt said. “Students will learn theory, but they’ll also learn repair techniques from trainers who actually do the repairs themselves.”

This webinar contains the same layout and format as other Parts Now! hands-on training classes, including quick specifications and model comparisons, a paper path tour, standard and specialty menus, printer step-by-step teardown and common break-fix information. At the end of the webinar, students must score 90% on an end-of-class test to receive a certificate of successful completion.

Geishirt noted that cost savings are among the many benefits of Online Training. “Students won’t have any travel costs with Online Training,” he said. “The only cost is the course fee, which is comparable to our hands-on course fee.”

Each Parts Now! Online Training course is broken up into sections that students can stop, pause, and rewind, giving them the ability to slow things down if they need extra time. Students can access the training for two weeks, which is useful if they want to view a section multiple times or break the training up over several days.
