Print Audit Releases New Facilities Manager
Calgary, Alberta – Print Audit, the leading print management software developer, announced today the release of the new Facilities Manager, a major upgrade to its remote meter reading and supplies management system.
Print Audit Facilities Manager is a simple yet powerful tool designed to remotely collect meter reads, automate supplies fulfillment, and report service information for managing fleets of copiers, printers, fax machines, and multi-function devices. It automatically records page counts for these devices, eliminating the need to manually gather information.
The new Facilities Manager is a complete re-write of its predecessor, with several new ground breaking features and enhancements. The solution features significantly increased accuracy for a wide range of devices due to the strong relationships that Print Audit has developed with major office equipment manufacturers.
Another significant feature of the new Facilities Manager is the Smart Alert system, which is used to notify dealers and VARs of printing device issues such as paper jams or low toner. The Smart Alert system eliminates insignificant notifications by allowing the user to filter alerts based on conditions such as how long or often a problem occurs. Smart Alerts can also accurately predict toner depletion times based on a company's historical print data.
"I would like to thank all of our dealers and customers for the great suggestions that have helped us build this new version of Facilities Manager," said John MacInnes, President and CEO of Print Audit. "I have no doubt that the increased accuracy and Smart Alert system have given us the most powerful device management solution available."
Throughout the month of July, John MacInnes will be conducting weekly online web presentations to introduce the new Facilities Manager. Online presentations will be conducted at 9am MST (11am EST, and 8am PST) on July 11th, 18th, and 26th. Individuals who are interested in attending a presentation may register at www.printaudit.com/fmwebinar.
