Print, Inc. Recognized As One of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies
Print, Inc., a leading provider of document output management solutions for business, today announced that it has been recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the nation’s fastest growing private companies, and by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the fastest growing private companies in Washington State for the second straight year.
Print, Inc., in only its first year of eligibility, ranks #234 on the prestigious Inc. 500 list of the nation’s most dynamic private companies, with four-year average annual sales growth of 159%. Companies that made this list have thrived despite continued stagnation in the economy. Further demonstrating the resilience of the Inc. 500 honorees, 102 of them, including Print, Inc., started in 1999 – meaning they weathered the start-up costs of the overcapitalized boom and thrived during the impending bust that was one of the toughest periods for young companies in history.
“The best thing you can say about this year’s crop of Inc. 500 entrepreneurs is that they didn’t buy into the hype,” said Inc. editor-in-chief John Koten. “When people were practically giving away funding in the late 1990’s, these companies didn’t overextend, and when everyone hit the panic button a few years later, they stayed calm and seized the opportunity.”
For the second year in a row, Print, Inc. was also recognized by the Puget Sound Business Journal as one of the fastest growing private companies in Washington State, based on a growth in revenue of 158% from 2001 to 2003. Print, Inc. ranks #31 on this list that includes many of Washington’s most successful entrepreneurial enterprises.
Said Gary Stevens, Print, Inc. founder, Chairman and CEO, “Making both of these prestigious lists is a real testament to the strength of our business model, the value we deliver to our customers, and the spirit and commitment of our people. Because of that, I’m tremendously proud, but not surprised, that we’ve been able to achieve a level of success that has led to our being recognized among these other elite companies.”
