PrintFleet Inc. Announces New Software System Enhancements

The Data Collector Agent (DCA), the core of PrintFleet's remote monitoring software Optimizer, Optimizer Plus and Enterprise, has recently received substantial feature developments to further support supplementary meter collection and device metrics. This additional level of data capture enables a dealership to obtain further billable items from a client site. DCA enhancements include:

HP Scan Meter Collection: Meter read collection is now extended to include scan meters from HP models. Displayed within the Device Detail view in the PrintFleet software application amongst the traditional multi-meter read captures such as total, total monochrome, total color, print monochrome, print color, copier monochrome, copier color, this latest addition of the scan meter capture provides further billable device data for a dealership.

HP Edgeline Meter Breakouts: Device metric data for HP Edgeline devices now includes the capture of meter breakouts for 11x17 (Simplex and Duplex) pages across varied standard HP Edgeline output qualities such as "Professional", "Professional-Color Accent", "General", etc. This is yet another substantial enhancement, as many PrintFleet dealerships are placing Edgeline devices in field in order to facilitate their Cost per Page programs in specific high print volume environments.

Firmware Collection: Also displayed within the Device Detail Screen, the PrintFleet DCA now automatically detects and displays firmware versions from most HP, Canon, Kyocera and Lexmark models. Service providers will now be able to remotely view which firmware versions are installed and target problematic devices for upgrades.
