PTI Expands U.S. Operations Eastward
Mt. Pleasant, TN — California based Printing Technology, Inc. (PTi) opened the doors to its brand new 22,000 square foot state-of-the-art inkjet manufacturing facility on 3.4 acres in Tennessee. The new facility houses PTi’s Inkjet R&D laboratories, production, and a distribution hub for eastern US customers.
“The grand opening is the culmination of a construction project that started over nine months ago,” says Peter DeSalay, founder and CEO of PTi. DeSalay continues, “PTi is recognized globally for our made in the USA products and has led our inkjet business to sky rocket. In order to continue this success, we decided last winter to make the investment to expand our inkjet operation and Tennessee government officials made a strong case for PTi to build in Mt. Pleasant. We expect to have 150 employees working out of this facility within three years.”
“PTi is only interested in manufacturing the highest quality inkjet cartridges possible while also maintaining an economical alternative for our resellers to capture greater profits. The business climate in Tennessee provides that,” says Clayton Cutler, Vice President of Inkjet Manufacturing. Cutler continues, “All of our equipment is custom made to PTi’s specifications and the facility design was created with manufacturing efficiencies as well as quality assurance in mind. We believe we have the best product on the market in terms of selection, availability, and performance.
