RazorLynx Launches Intelligent Services Network

RazorLynx, a developer of service solutions and application tools for resellers and networked device OEMs, has announced the availability of its Intelligent Services Network (ISN) product suite. ISN is a product offering for the printer, copier and multifunction device marketplace to assist in the value added reseller (VAR) community's approach to developing and maintaining customer loyalty and aftermarket service solutions.

"The Web-based communications platform gives VARs, resellers and authorized service providers (ASPs), an automated way to effectively manage their customer base and build profitable, long-term relationships with both existing as well as new customers," a company press releases states. "For end users, ISN makes placing inquiries, ordering supplies and requesting service far easier and more convenient than ever before.

"Historically, the single greatest challenge for the networked device VAR community has been retaining and properly servicing customers after the initial purchase and installation," the release continues. "In fact, recent data shows that these channel resellers experience between 50 percent and 60 percent customer churn post installation. The sale of a printer, copier or multi-function device accounts for only a third of the overall lifetime revenue potential. The remaining two-thirds represents recurring revenues for items such as ink, paper and supplies, as well as on-site and depot level services that yield significant margins. Developed as a solution to this challenge, RazorLynx ISN was created in concert with an executive business council comprised of a distinguished group of experts from the multi-function device industry and the associated reseller community. With the introduction of this new service product, VARs and end users have a win-win solution for dramatically improving and extending customer-supplier relationships."

"For end users of networked devices such as printers, faxes and copiers, ISN provides an easy, fast and convenient way to order service, parts and supplies online from their suppliers. Installation of the reseller's custom-branded click-to-order interface can be completed in just a few minutes and provides a simple and timely way to communicate with the supplier or service provider. With ISN, there are no serial numbers to memorize or model details to recite and look up. Inquiries are always directed to the appropriate contacts with appropriate notifications sent to IT managers, the VAR or any other designated or authorized contact point."

"The channel has been looking for a way to solve churn and low customer retention for a long time now," said Marc Messina, CEO of RazorLynx. "ISN is the first solution that really creates the 'stickiness' that keeps suppliers connected to their customers. We believe that this solution has the potential to transform a business by creating long-term customer relationships that translate into growth and higher revenues."
