RECHARGEasia Debuts RechargExpo in Singapore
Irvine, CA - RECHARGEasia Magazine will launch a new imaging Exposition in Singapore late this Spring. Named “RechargExpo,” it will run in tandem with the magazine’s successful Asian Imaging Forum (AIF).
“The new trade show, held June 17 to 19 at the giant Suntec International Convention & Exhibi-tion Center, will complement AIF 2007, which runs on June 15 and 16,” Director Sunny Sun said. “But most important,” she added “is the optimum location of RechargExpo that makes it so unique and accessible for all Asian companies in the imaging industry.”
Conference Chair Graham J. Galliford, a world-renowned consultant to the imaging industry, observed, “East meets West at these two special events. Here, Asian producers will again welcome their Western counterparts as a window on the vast markets of the United States, Europe, and Latin America.”
AIF, in its inaugural year 2006, was an immediate success, drawing about 150 participants. They came from Asian toner, OPC drum, ink jet ink and imaging hardware manufacturers in China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. Many also came from Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States. More Registrants are expected this year at AIF 2007 from all of these countries and other nations in South America and the Middle East.
For most Asians, Singapore is a prized destination for a number of reasons: It is a clean, safe, peaceful venue where both Chinese and English languages are spoken. It is the world’s fourth largest foreign exchange trading center after London, New York City and Tokyo. And, it has been rated as the most business-friendly economy in the world.
AIF 2007 coincides with the RechargExpo 2007 trade show for the imaging industry, an event that will likely attract thousands of visitors from OEMs and aftermarket firms. As of this moment, about 90% of the Suntec Exhibit Hall’s floor space has already been sold out to suppliers from all over the world. In addition to the 110 booths leased to date an important series of cartridge remanufacturing sessions is scheduled. These training demonstrations will bring technicians and supervisors up to speed on the latest techniques, procedures, standards, and components being used by Western rechargers.
EXPO Admission is free to AIF Singapore 2007 Registrants and to holders of complimentary tickets enclosed in RECHARGEasia Magazine issues for February through June 2007. Admission with-out this official ticket is USD$40, or $60 SGD (Singapore dollars), or 300 Chinese Yuan. Among the products featured will be toners, inks, toner resins, pigments, dyes, plant equipment, printers, copiers, and other imaging hardware. All admissions--by certificate, AIF attendance, cash or credit card payment--include free admission to the series of cartridge remanufacturing training classes held at the Suntec site during RechargEXPO Singapore 2007.
