ReChina Asia Expo Exceeds Expectations
Shanghai, China (December, 2008) - The fifth annual ReChina Asia Expo, held November 10-12 in lively downtown Shanghai, drew record crowds, bustling with 8,500 visitors from more than 50 countries. ReChina Asia Expo saw 406 exhibiting companies at the event, the biggest professional trade show in the imaging supplies industry aftermarket. This year’s exhibitors included Static Control Components, Partsmart, Anerya, Future Graphics, MSE, Ninestar, Pelikan, Beijing Laser, Baikson OPC, InkTec, AEG, LG Chemical, YAFO, OCP and Cypress.
“ReChina Asia Expo is one of the most important platformd for many companies,” said Sean Liu, CEO of ReChina Asia Expo. “They re-sign with excitement; they see two halls and book a booth in both halls. They want to take advantage of ReChina's popularity and exposure. This year some were concerned about the impact from the economic crisis, with air traffic in China down and people not traveling and reluctant to spend money. But the outstanding attendance at ReChina 2008 proved that our show is very important to them. We should continue to see healthy growth next year given the fantastic re-sign activity.”
ReChina Asia Expo attendees took advantage of the numerous classes and symposium available at the show. Market leaders in managed print, consumables and chip technology headed the many events and activities. All exhibitors and visitors were welcome to attend these valuable seminars and networking opportunities.
Because of the show’s exceptional growth, ReChina Asia will move its next show to an even larger venue. The 2009 event, set for December 2-4, will be held in the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
The Shanghai New International Expo Center is the largest modern exhibition center in Asia, with more than 200,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space. This more modern venue is located in Pudong, a newer section of Shanghai on the east side of the Huangpo River.
