Richard Latronica Joins Minolta Corporation As Group Product Marketing Manager

Richard Latronica has joined Minolta Corporation’s Business Products Group (BPG) as the group product marketing manager for Color Printer/Copier products. John Reilly, director, Marketing and Strategic Planning, BPG, made the announcement.

Latronica is responsible for expanding Minolta’s award-winning line of CF Series color printer/copiers into new markets, positioning the products in the market and supporting them with programs and promotions needed by Minolta’s distribution channel. In addition, Latronica will communicate customer needs, feedback and other information to his counterpart in Minolta’s Product Planning and Development Group.

“The skills Rich developed in his prior position as graphics systems manager with Minolta Business Solutions (MBS), Minolta’s retail sales company, will serve him well as we extend the reach of our CF Series into new markets,” said Reilly. “Rich provides the management experience and vision of the direction in which Minolta’s color products must go in order to achieve the company’s market share and revenue goals.”

Latronica joined MBS in 1997 and in his five years there held many positions in management including NY/NJ metro area manager of Imaging/Digital Products Group and graphic systems manager for both New York City and New Jersey. In these management positions, Latronica was responsible for opening new vertical markets, closing new business, increasing sales and revenues as well as supervising a range of employees from sales managers to systems engineers. Prior to joining MBS, Latronica worked for JM Graphics Inc. and Eastman Kodak Company.
