Ricoh Corporation Pays to Visit RJ Young
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 17, 2009) –On Wednesday, February 11th top executives from Ricoh Corporation paid a visit to the RJ Young Company in Nashville, TN. Kirk Yoshida, Chairman and CEO along with Kiyo Shimizu, Sr. VP of Dealer Sales for Ricoh Corporation met with John Crunk, Chairman of the Board and Chip Crunk, President and CEO of RJ Young Company to discuss future strategies of the two companies.
“This meeting was a very important step for both companies. We have seen many changes in our industry over the last year and with the economy right now, it’s a challenge to continue growing business,” said Chip Crunk President and CEO of RJ Young.
Discussions centered on the distribution of Ricoh products with the recent purchase of IKON by Ricoh as well as Ricoh’s plans for the future. The RJ Young Company is one of the top three independent dealers for Ricoh in the US market. They have been a dealer of Ricoh made products since 1978 and have been a dealer for the Ricoh brand products since 1982. With a long history with Ricoh, the RJ Young Company was very interested in the future direction for Ricoh and their distribution strategy.
