Ricoh Releases Software Solution for Direct Mail
Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, announced today the launch of Ricoh PrintMail, a direct marketing software program designed to create and print one-to-one marketing and business communications material.
Until now the development and production of effective, individual, specific marketing and communication documents was limited to the largest corporations or provided by expensive third party vendors. By utilizing Ricoh PrintMail, customers can now do it on their own and produce in-house, individualized documents such as letters, greeting cards, labels, brochures, invitations, and postcards to name a few.
"Almost all organizations have a need to produce documents to reach customers, prospects, related parties and staff,” said Hede Nonaka, vice president of marketing for Ricoh Corporation. “Ricoh PrintMail means companies can make each document personal to the contact, generate the label or envelope at the same time, and do it immediately, when the need and opportunity is greatest.”
Ricoh PrintMail is compatible with all of Ricoh's extensive color and black and white printers and multifunction devices. It runs on Windows XP, 2000 and 2003. Furthermore, compatibility with the industry standard CSV file format, allows Ricoh PrintMail to easily integrate with most customer contact data. Its Windows based user interface allows the development of attractive forms and documents that are then merged with the contact data and readied for print. Ricoh PrintMail is capable of printing many thousands of documents in one job.
