SAI Dealer Study
OCALA, FL—Sostilio & Associates International (SAI) has announced the availability of its SAI 2002/2003 Dealer Study, a probe of the state of the independent office equipment dealer channel. The in-depth study, conducted this past winter, was based on extensive personal interviews of a representative sample of the channel.
The study surveyed more than three dozen of areas of activity, including sales and service; staffing; revenues and trends by product line -- copier, printer and facsimile; network services and connect rates; color and black and white; spare parts sourcing; discounting; competition; compensation; personnel and acquisition trends. Data was developed and compared among dealers in four size categories from less than $3 million in annual revenues to greater than $10 million.
The report will be a valuable resource to a wide range of interests in the office equipment market, including dealers, manufacturers, financial and market analysts, resellers and distributors. Manufacturers will find the study useful to benchmark how well their organization is doing with its line of products in the independent dealer channel, and where and how operations can be improved. Dealers, distributors, resellers and analysts will get a revealing view of the industry that will help them understand current and future directions.
The SAI 2002/2003 Dealer Study includes 70 pages of text and 43 color graphics. The full report is available in PDF format on a CD for $3,950. A bound hardcopy version is also available.
