Samsung Debuts New Program for Authorized Samsung Resellers
Samsung showcases its commitment to the channel and its valued resellers with the introduction of The Samsung Lease Program. Offered jointly by Samsung Electronics America, Information Technology Division (ITD) and GE Commercial Finance, the new Samsung Lease Program better facilitates the leasing of Samsung IT products and associated IT equipment by authorized Samsung resellers to their business customers. Samsung resellers now have the opportunity to offer this lease option to their customers as a new method of purchasing Samsung displays (LCD, CRT and plasma monitors), laser printers, and multifunction fax/printer products from authorized distributors using GE Commercial Finance.
“The Samsung Lease Program gives our resellers’ customers the ability to finance upgrades of their entire IT lineup with high-end, award-winning solutions from Samsung,” comments Rey Roque, Vice President of Marketing for Samsung’s Information Technology Division (ITD). “The Samsung Lease Program is truly a win-win for our resellers and their customers. It allows resellers to sell more equipment, move higher-margin products and retain customers for future sales. It also enables a resellers’ customer to obtain the products, technology and capabilities they need, not just what the can directly afford.”
The Samsung Lease Program is designed for business customer use. Any business customer can obtain leasing (pending credit approval) including but not limited to: Not-For-Profit organizations, school district/education environment, state and local government agencies.
All Samsung ITD products (including Pro A/V and BTA products) purchased through authorized Samsung distributors, master dealers or direct dealers are eligible for The Samsung Lease Program. Additionally, any associated IT or Pro A/V equipment that are on the same end user purchase order or invoice with the Samsung ITD products are eligible for the program.
Samsung resellers have many valuable reasons to offer their business customers The Samsung Lease Program. Lease financing gives resellers greater control of their customer base. By including leasing in proposals, it enhances a reseller’s image with customers and helps to close the sale. Resellers now have the ability to let their customer consider the total solution they offer, not just equipment pricing. The Samsung Lease Program allows resellers to offer more profitable, step-up products that can fit within the customer’s budget. Furthermore, resellers can control their customer’s technology life cycle, recommend upgrades, and seamlessly replace end-of-lease products.
In addition, The Samsung Lease Program offers resellers SPIFFs on certain Samsung models as leasing incentives. Resellers can receive these valuable SPIFFs for selected LCD, CRT and plasma displays as well as specific laser printers and all MFPs.
