Savin’s Introduces New Digital Wide-Format Copier

Savin Corporation introduces the 2400WD, a wide-format digital copier offering a range of productivity-enhancing options and tools.  The 2400WD fulfills the wide-format needs of architects, engineers, landscapers and other professionals requiring multiple copies of detailed, large-format documents like floor plans, schematics and blueprints.

The copier's versatility is enhanced with the optional RW-240 printer controller, enabling printing and scanning, and making the system ideal for any application requiring copies, scans or prints of documents larger than 11" x 17".  All output is rendered in 600 dpi resolution with 256 shades of gray for detailed and easy-to-read copy.

Savin's 2400WD provides an array of image-enhancing tools, such as reduction/enlargement, sorting, stamping and imaging editing.  All applications are accessible via the unit's control panel, allowing easy walk-up image manipulation and customization.

The 2400WD outputs a maximum copy length of nearly 12 feet, so the most detailed documents can be enlarged.  The standard 80 MB memory, upgradeable to 10 GB, allows the system to store key documents in memory for easy copying with the touch of a button, meaning frequently accessed documents needn't be fed through the unit each time a copy is required.

With a footprint of just 42" wide x 25" deep x 23" high, the 2400WD can fit into the tightest spaces and can be easily moved from location to location as required.

The 2400WD is available now starting at a suggested retail price of $10,000 as a standalone copier and up to $21,000 for complete copying, printing and scanning capabilities.
