SmartPower Systems Releases Copier Guardian II

USA (Feb/Mar. 2011) - SmartPower Systems, a leading manufacturer of power quality solutions, announces the release of the Copier Guardian II, a complete power filter solution that offers comprehensive power protection for copiers, fax machines, phone systems and other office equipment.

The new electronic power conditioner encompasses all of the functionality of the original Copier Guardian, but is the only product of its kind to offer new, upgraded ground loop protection and an optional CAT6 port. Copier Guardian II products range from 15 to 20 amps and protect systems requiring 120 to 240 volts.

The second generation Copier Guardian is a transformer-based filter solution that delivers unrivaled performance, protecting against minor and severe spikes and surges that cause more than 80% of power issues. Copier Guardian II also offers users protection through additional features such as common and normal mode noise filtering, faulty wiring detection, prolonged over voltage protection and more.

“It’s unfortunate that operations managers may not realize the value of proper power protection until there’s an issue,” said Bahram Mechanic, Founder and President of SmartPower Systems.” The inability to use a copier, fax machine, phone system, or other office equipment due to power issues can cost employers substantial amounts of money in lost business, unnecessary service calls and the replacement of office equipment. By utilizing the Copier Guardian II, business owners are assured that their essential components are protected during any potential power problem.”
