Software Connections, Developer of the Laserfiche Connector Receives Excellence Award from eCopy
Miami, FL – eCopy, Inc., a leading provider of solutions that integrate paper documents into business software applications, presented a Partner Excellence Award in Sales Leadership to Software Connections, LLC, one of Laserfiche’s well respected and successful Professional Developer Partnership (PDP) program members. The presentation took place at this year's Paper Connection Forum held at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa in Miami, FL.
Software Connections, LLC, located in Baton Rouge, LA, received the award for selling the largest number of connectors in North America for their connector to Laserfiche (LF Connector). According to their Vice President, John McLain, “We are pleased to be presented with this honor as we continually strive to produce cutting edge solutions in today's competitive marketplace.”
Using the LFConnector, paper documents can be scanned directly to a Laserfiche repository using an eCopy-enabled digital copier or scanner. The LFConnector acts as an interface between the user’s copier or scanner and Laserfiche’s document management system. Once eCopy ShareScan OP is installed on the device, the user can add the LFConnector leveraging the eCopy-enabled copier or scanner for inputting information directly into a Laserfiche database.
Electronic digital document management solutions provider, Laserfiche, announces today that the Star Tribune, located in Minneapolis, has signed an agreement to use its digital document management tools to help implement applications for accounts payable, human resources, travel and contracts processes. The system will be installed by Solbrekk, which provides business technology solutions to organizations.
“Some of the first projects we will be assisting the Star Tribune with are migration from a legacy documents imaging system and integration with PeopleSoft,” said Larry Phelps, president of Solbrekk. “We feel privileged to be working with such a competent IT staff who are enthusiastic about incorporating Laserfiche solutions for automating manual processes, accelerating the flow of critical information into business operations, reducing or eliminating the need for manual data entry, and empowering staff to use their time more effectively.”
