Standard Introducs New Electric Desktop Paper Cutter
Standard Duplicating Machines Corporation of Andover, Massachusetts, has expanded its line of desk-top document finishing solutions with the introduction of the PC-S43 Electric Paper Cutter.
The PC-S43 Paper Cutter offers a convenient and economical solution for the cutting and trimming requirements up to a full 17" wide for businesses, schools, churches, copy/duplicating centers, EDP departments and desktop-publishing centers. Electric push-button cutting operation adds simplicity and ease versus manual clamping and lever action paper cutters. Special safety features keep hands away from the cutting zone with Plexiglas safety covers and sophisticated dual push-button cutting controls that require simultaneous two-hand operation during the cutting cycle. According to Steven Reny, Vice President and Managing Director of Standard's Business Systems Division, "The PC-S43 is ideal for organizations replacing a manual paper cutter in order to have improved operator convenience, safety and productivity. It provides key safety features, electric operation, a unique and convenient disposable cutting blade, illuminated cut-line and simple set-up and operation needed by lower volume users." The PC-S43 includes features and conveniences not found on other desktop cutters such as an illuminated cut line, side mounted back-gauge control and a spring return manual push out bar. These features help make cutting paper on the PC-S43 safer and easy to operate for even the occasional users. The cutting capacity enables the operator to cut 1" stacks of papers up to 17.08" wide by 15.6" inches in depth.
