Static Control’s Distributor Certification Program

Sanford, NC – Static Control Components has begun certifying each of its authorized distributors through an extensive five-day training program focusing primarily on the aftermarket’s two major technologies, color cartridges and chips.

According to Erwin Pijpers, Vice President of International Sales and Marketing at SCC, the world of the remanufacturer is changing rapidly. “As a global enterprise, Static has operations and distributors worldwide. It is imperative that our authorized distributors remain current with the technologies in place today, especially with the increasing color printer and chip technologies which will only continue to grow and evolve.”

The first certification training program was held at Static Control’s world headquarters training center facilities in Sanford, NC in November of 2006. “We are currently putting together another program that will be held in our European headquarters located in the United Kingdom,” said Pijpers. “By becoming certified, our distributors will be better positioned to enable the local remanufacturers in their respective markets to succeed in our increasingly competitive and global marketplace.”

The certification training program consisted of six theory and product presentations including color fundamentals, chemical toner, color cartridge components and chips. In addition, hands-on classes were held for some of the most popular cartridges, HP3500/3700, HP3000, HP4700, HP4600, HP2600, HP2500, HP5500, QMS 2300/2400, Samsung CLP 500/510 and Xerox 525/Dell 3000/3100.
