5 Feb, 2001Static Releases Infoprint® 20/Apple® 8500 Drum with Gears and Inserts
Sanford, NC – Static Control’s January release of the Infoprint® 20/Apple® 8500 drum with gears and inserts gives remanufacturers all the basic imaging components required to successfully remanufacture this cartridge. With an OEM cartridge list price of $243, the InfoPrint 20 cartridge is a profitable market opportunity for all remanufacturers.
The availability of a geared drum for the Infoprint 20 speeds production time and saves labor costs in your operations. It can also prevent the potential for drum damage in gearing operations.
The IBM® Infoprint 20 and Apple LaserWriter® 8500 printers both use the 20 ppm Fuji-Xerox® 20 (P880) engine, originally introduced in 1997. Since then, product demand has steadily escalated for this B-sized cartridge, and Static Control’s Imaging Laboratories has responded with the release of a fully integrated system. Our products, including toner, drum, wiper blade, remanufactured PCR and seal, give remanufacturers all the basic imaging components required to successfully remanufacture this cartridge.
Static’s toner and drum combination achieves page yields equal to the OEM-rated yield of 14,000 pages. Calculated page yield estimate based on ASTM F1856 Toner Usage Test Standard. System matched performance of toner, drum and wiper blade achieves densities in the 1.45-1.50 range.
