Strategy Development Forms Free Knowledge Sharing Resources For Service Management
Bryn Mawr, PA (July 2009) - Month in and month out service management is expected to deliver quality customer service and high contribution margins. Yet to date there has not been a formal process to share success stories or seek help from peers—until now. Strategy Development has formed the group “Copier Service Management” on Linked In as a forum for service management.
“In March Strategy Development launched their blog, www.strategydevelopmentinc.blogspot.com and the Linked In group, ‘Print Management,’” commented Tom Callinan, principal. “The blog provides free real time industry information and receives over 1,000 views per month and the Linked In group Print Management, which is focused to companies that provide or support MPS / print management, has almost 500 members sharing ideas. In the last four months these two resources have become critical information sources for the imaging industry.”
Mike Woodard, service consultant, saw the success of using Linked In as an information sharing forum for print management and knew it could benefit service management. “In the brief time the ‘copier service management’ group has been open the members have had great discussions on topics as diverse as service incentive plans and the benefits of help desks,” commented Woodard. Continuing, “My goal is to have the group serve as an unbiased information sharing group for anybody involved in the management of a print management / MPS or copier service department.”
To join the group simply query “Copier Service Management” in the “search groups” drop down at the top of the Linked In page (www.linkedin.com)
