Strategy Development Partners with National Printer Repair Network to Establish Service Specific Benchmarking for MPS
Bryn Mawr, PA, (April 20, 2010) - Strategy Development, a management consulting and advanced sales training firm, has been
contracted by the National Printer Repair Network (NPRN), a multi-vendor partnership providing
national printer service coverage with a single point of contact, to establish
service benchmarks for Managed Print Services (MPS).
Service benchmarking for copiers and multi-functional devices has been around since the late eighties; emerging is the need for MPS service benchmarking. Leading the charge, Strategy Development launched a proprietary, comprehensive, web-based survey for the NPRN to identify human resource and operations related best practices. Strategy Development analyzed the results of the 108-question, ten topic survey, in which nearly 30 companies took part. NPRN will prioritize and roll out the findings in upcoming meetings.
Frank Topinka, President of Page After Page, said, “Efficiency and consistency are imperative for a conglomeration of this magnitude to remain viable and profitable in this highly competitive environment. Strategy Development has been invaluable in illuminating key strengths for replication throughout the network. These experienced industry veterans will also be used to guide the NPRN in the tactics necessary to realize our strategic, operational goals.”
Mike Woodard, Service Consultant at Strategy Development, said, “Extensive participation enabled profound insight into proficient MPS service practices that, as they are shared, will provide superior levels of differentiation from the competition.”
