TABS Announces Executive Changes - Taylor Resigns
IRVINE, CA. (Jan. 22, 2008) – Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) today announced that Rick Taylor has resigned his position as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at TABS.
TABS also announced today that it will be making business-enhancing changes to the company’s management structure effective Feb. 1, 2008. Changes related to the new structure include the company having one Chairman and CEO, and one President and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
As a result of these announcements, the company also disclosed that Mark Mathews, currently serving as Vice President, General Manager, Electronics Imaging Division, TABS, will be promoted to President and COO, effective Feb. 1, 2008. Mark will continue to manage his current responsibilities as the Acting VP/GM of EID after Feb. 1. The appointee to the position of Chairman and CEO will be announced soon. Up until TABS’ new management structure takes effect on Feb. 1, Nobuo Fukazawa, Senior Vice President, will assume the role of Acting President and CEO, effective today.
