Tech Data Corporation (NASDAQ:TECD) today expanded its TDOnCall services offering by announcing a distribution agreement with Computer Exchange Ltd., a leading source for new and refurbished parts and services. Resellers now have access to an extensive array of replacement parts for desktops, laptops, routers and servers, as well as a broad range of repair, refurbish and exchange services for printer parts.
"Resellers offering hardware service agreements typically make considerable inventory investments to ensure they have the parts on hand for anticipated repairs and maintenance throughout the life of the contract," said Barb Miller, Tech Data's vice president, Government, Technical and Integration Services. Through TDOnCall, Tech Data offers customers next-day delivery of more than 1,000 replacement parts for many top-selling brands, including fusers, print heads, cores, maintenance kits and engine boards for printers; keyboards and LCD displays for laptops; and circuit boards and power supplies for desktops, servers and routers. Resellers can leverage TDOnCall's online parts locator tool to quickly identify and purchase the parts they need through www.tdoncall.com.
All Computer Exchange parts are 100 percent guaranteed and covered by a 90-day warranty. The company offers repair services for all parts whether or not they are covered by warranty. TDOnCall also will offer resellers exchange services for printer cores. Resellers purchasing replacement cores will receive parts securely packaged for quick installation in the field with materials and shipping instructions to return old components for recycling or proper disposal.
