TonerPlus Markets First-to-Industry Lexmark Universal Drum Covers

As most cartridge remanufactures know, Lexmark has begun to make their cartridges without a drum cover.  Remanufacturers are left with two dilemmas. The first is the influx of Lexmark empties they receive with damaged drums that otherwise could be in tact.  The second of which is the problem of protecting the drum in the delivery of remanufactured Lexmark product.

TonerPlus is bringing a solution to the industry with the first of its kind Lexmark Universal Drum Cover.  This reusable, protective cover (TP # CP1146) that the end user removes before installing the cartridge is designed to conform to most Lexmark-style toner cartridges, and possibly many other cartridge types. The unique, hard plastic cover has foam undersides which conform to whatever Lexmark cartridge type it is being used for.

TonerPlus President Tom Goebel remarked on the covers by saying, “We are very excited about our newest product release that helps ensure a quality product for Lexmark cartridges. Our unique design will allow this part to fit many cartridge styles.  Cost will be very reasonable due to our low investment in molds and high anticipated demand.”

The new covers, for which a patent is pending, will be ready for shipment October 1.  The interest in the new piece is overwhelming, and as word gets out about its many uses, the demand is growing rapidly.
