TriMega Recognized Top Performers at Highly Successful 13th Annual One-on-One Meeting
p>Rosemont, IL (May 2009) — Principals from more than 40 of the country’s leading office product dealerships and executives of 35 industry suppliers met last week at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort, CA for TriMega Purchasing Association’s 13th Annual One-on-One Meeting entitled “Making Waves” (www.trimega.org/oneonone).
The annual meeting brought together members of TriMega’s Contract Forum, the largest members of the group, with specially invited leading suppliers for a series of individual business development meetings and comprehensive business reviews. “This year’s One-on-One Meeting made great strides in enhancing dealer & supplier relationships while finding creative solutions for mutual growth in this economy. The mood throughout the event was upbeat, attitudes were positive and the business meetings conducted were more productive than they’ve ever been,” commented TriMega president Charlie Cleary. “We were delighted with the can-do spirit and opportunity-driven attitude both suppliers and dealers carried with them throughout the week,” he added.
In addition to individual dealer/supplier one-on-one meetings conducted during the event, other highlights of the event included: • A heart wrenching and inspiring keynote address by Warren Macdonald – the first double-above-knee amputee to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania – who captivated the audience as he shared his incredible life story while delivering insightful life learnings. His keynote address is entitled “It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fine”.
An informative address presented by TriMega executives Greg Fish, Grady Taylor, Michael Morris, Charlie Cleary and TriMega Chairman, Foss Jones on why these times are good times to be an independent dealer.
