TSA Announces Two New Cost-Saving Fuser Repair Kits
Atlanta, GA (November, 2008)- TSAworld, a distributor of OEM and aftermarket imaging products, announces the introduction of two valuable cost-saving fuser repair kits. These kits fit Ricoh fuser part numbers B03717280 and B2097281 for the following makes and models:
Ricoh: Aficio 1022, 1027, 2022, 2027, 3025, 3030, MP2510, and MP3010.
Gestetner: 2212, 2712, DSM622, DSM627, DSM725, and DSM730.
Lanier: 5622, 5627, LD122, LD122SP, LD127, LD225, LD230, LD325, and LD330.
Nashuatec: D2205 and D2705.
Savin: 2522, 2527, 4022, and 4027, 8025, and 8030.
TSAworld, with valuable input from several of its customers, developed these kits in response to customer feedback about frequent failure of the plastic upper fuser roller (UFR) bearing housing in the fuser lower frame assembly. Once the plastic in the lower frame assembly cracks or breaks the UFR bearing moves, causing roller damage and/or paper jams. Prior to the availability of these kits, field technicians replaced the entire expensive fuser. Some in-house service operations replaced and rewired the fuser with a new lower frame assembly but this time consuming process eventually needed to be repeated. TSAworld’s kits allow technicians to permanently fix this design flaw in a matter of minutes without the requirement of installing a new fuser OR a new lower frame assembly.
Kit part numbers are:
• KB0317280-5 Designed for field repair and containing parts to repair five (5) lower fuser frame assemblies.
• KB0317280-25 Designed for in-house repair and containing parts to repair twenty-five (25) lower fuser frame assemblies.
• Both kits contain detailed installation instructions.
TSAworld recommends installation of the above kits when installing fuser maintenance kit part numbers PMB022120K and PMB205120K. Completing both tasks at the same time eliminates the need for an expensive second courtesy service visit.
