Visioneer Celebrates Record Growth in Document Imaging Industry

Pleasanton, CA - Visioneer, Inc. has announced that a surge of new customer wins, expanded channel presence and a growing list of OneTouch software partners increased its digital capture market with record growth and a 30% increase in revenue for Q2, 2007 over the same quarter last year. Company growth increased in all segments including workgroup, departmental and production scanners.

“Our sales of Visioneer scanners grew 45% for the first 6 months this year versus the same period last year,” said Mike Erwin, Sr. Vendor Business Manager at Ingram Micro. “As our fastest growing scanner product line, Visioneer has done a great job in educating our VARs about the value of OneTouch scanning and its powerful integration with leading software applications such as Kofax VRS and Microsoft SharePoint.”

“The advantage of Visioneer OneTouch scanning is that large companies can deploy thousands of scanners throughout their enterprise and still keep their training and support costs low. It’s all about ROI when you analyze the total cost of ownership.” said Murray L. Dennis, president and CEO of Visioneer. “Over the next 6 months, we expect to announce several new relationships with major document imaging ISVs who are integrating their applications with our OneTouch driver.”

“Visioneer doubled its business over the prior quarter with us and is currently our fastest growing scanner company in the departmental segment. The growing demand for easy-to-use document scanning solutions has created a thriving market for Visioneer’s OneTouch technology,” said Lenny Martin, Executive Vice President at NewWave Technologies.
