Westbrook Technologies Announces Fortis Enterprise EnableIt

Westbrook Technologies, a document management software company, announced Enterprise EnableIt for the company’s flagship Fortis suite. Enterprise EnableIt provides not only the traditional image-enabling capability of EnableIt, but also allows for data to be passed from a host application to Fortis and vice versa.

This powerful configuration boasts a wealth of integration techniques, opportunities and alternatives including e-mail, Web (http requests), data population, encryption/decryption, VB Script, direct SQL statements and more. Fortis customers can use Enterprise EnableIt to unify disparate desktop applications into a cohesive system, automate redundant tasks, increase workforce efficiency, decrease data integrity errors, allow data to be re-purposed without modifying applications, save time and reduce costs.

Fortis Enterprise EnableIt integrates with line of business (LOB) applications such as accounts payable/receivable, claims, broker management, human resources, customer relationship management (CRM), logistics, point of sale (POS), legal and case management systems.

“Our Fortis customers have expressed a need for expanded product functionality in order to run their businesses more efficiently,” said Marshall Pimenta, Westbrook Technologies’ Chief Technology Officer. “Westbrook has responded with comprehensive new capabilities to the Fortis configuration. Enterprise EnableIt will provide users with instant access to vital documents needed to make accurate and informed decisions – another way Westbrook Technologies is bringing new levels of document management to our customers.”
